Buket Sisalan placed first in the artistic category at the 2015 national team selections organized by the Turkish Bakers Association. Between April 9 and 16, 2015, they competed for a place in the Louis Lesaffre Cup Mediterranean-Africa Region International Selections. In the international selections, held at the Lesaffre Middle East and Central Asia Baking Center in Istanbul, they competed against bakers from Algeria, Morocco, Ivory Coast, and Mauritius, placing first. This earned them the right to participate in the championship in Paris. As the first female competitor to represent Turkey, she was awarded first place. This achievement marked a turning point in her professional career. For the last four years, she has been working as a pastry and chocolate chef for Catsi Chocolate, a part of DIRKALI Natural Mastic and Products, conducting R&D, specialty manufacturing, and workshops.
